For those of you who might be interested I just wanted to, introduce you to ISU department of agronomy podcasts.

What is a Podcast?

"A podcast is a common method for delivering episodes of audio and video content as a subscription service. While users have been able to download audio and video from websites for years, podcasts allow users to "subscribe" and automatically receive new content, as opposed to visiting a website to check for and download new content manually. Do I need an iPod to watch these videos? No. Although the name implies that, you don't need an iPod or any type of portable media player to view these podcasts. You can watch them directly on your computer with most modern web browsers or media viewers. How do I subscribe to a podcast, vidcast, or vodcast? If you are using a modern web browser, all you have to do is click on the RSS/XML feed graphic on the series page. You'll be able to see the episodes in the series and will have the option to subscribe to the feed. If you are using another type of client, such as iTunes, just click and drag the graphic into the main window of your podcatcher. Most modern podcatching software will subscribe you automatically.
